[ holyshityouguys. I really didn't want to write a third part, I figured you guys would be satisfied with the two-part story. Oh, how horribly wrong I was. But, despite my laziness, I couldn't say no to you pretties ╮(▰＞△＜)╭ So here's part three, the FINAL PART.
actually it's not really even a thing it's just a closing and it's 6 in the morning with sickness and no sleep so i'm sorry for this ]
Thinking back, [Name] always felt a little embarrassed about herself. Did it really have to start out like that? Really? Relationships were supposed to start out by going out on a date, asking someone to the prom or, if you're losing hope, dating sites. Well, that would mean there were a lot of hopeless people in the world, since "1 in 5 relationships now begin on an online dating site!" But no. Things had to start with cybering. Ain't that just dandy?
She should have seen it coming, in hindsight. Not the cyber part, but just the feelings in general. They wouldn't have, they COULDN'T stay friends forever. It would have elevated sooner or later. And, once it elevated, it didn't stop. Nope, that elevator just kept going to the top floor, no matter how many times you tried pushing those pussy-ass 2nd floor 3rd floor buttons. It ascended the whole way. [Name]'s so proud of that elevator. So, so proud.
And, what was one of those steps along the way? Well, not technically steps, since this lardo went for the elevator instead, but
Wait, what was the point?
Yeah, She forgot where she was going with this, but the takeaway is that this was the top tier.
A far away cry, sounding soft but over-dramatized by a static-like noise accompanying it, flowed through her ears. [Name] rubbed her eyes and immediately went to wipe the sweat from her forehead. Damn, she'd never get used to this heat. She opened her eyes and grabbed the baby monitor on the end table, turning it down before rolling over.
"Ngh, Dave..." she waited for a few seconds, then shook him lightly, putting her hand on his shoulder. "Da-"
"I heard you the first time, [Name]." He rolled over, those captivating bright red eyes piercing into hers.
"Lucas is up." That was all that needed to be said before Dave was out of bed, pulling some pajama pants over his boxers and leaning down to give [Name] a mind-blowing kiss, just like every other kiss they shared.
"I'll take care of it." He whisked out the door, and she was left lying there, waiting for him to come back so that she could fall asleep again. After about 3 minutes of crying and soothing words coming out of the baby monitor, it got quiet, and Dave was in the room moments later, slipping into bed. [Name] kissed him again, holding it for a second before pulling away and snuggling into his chest.
"I love you, Dave."
"I love you too, [Name]."
